Pros of Transaction Pro Importer (TPI)

We’ve seen that many QuickBooks Online users spend hours of valuable time entering monthly journal entries that are in-depth and very long. Transaction Pro Importer (TPI) has been a blessing for such users and it wonderfully integrates with QuickBooks Online.

We’ve tested a few accounting conversions on different platforms and Transaction Pro Importer (TPI) have made it possible.

This app makes it possible to import a huge number of records into QuickBooks Online, in a matter of clicks. Now running professional invoices off QuickBooks Online without having to go through the tedious process of manually entering data into QuickBooks Online has become very easy.

As part of the review, we ran and exported data from our payroll software application that easily exports into Excel. The Transaction Importer feature makes it very simple and easy, we had to memorize the Trial balance Report format and imported the data into QuickBooks Online with absolute ease. This app definitely reduces a lot of headache and saves a ton of time.

Importing journal entries into QuickBooks Online at times maybe cumbersome, time consuming process, this app has streamlined the process. The data in exported/converted with ease into either .CSV or excel format. This data can be easily imported into Transaction Pro Importer (TPI) interface

Cons of Transaction Pro Importer (TPI)

Even though this app has been a lifesaver to many users who entered data manually, the user interface could have much better. The look and feel of the app interface is a little outdated and archaic. Even though we didn’t come across many error messages while using the app, there were quite a few while uploading text files. We also see an issue while importing specific type of transactions.

We also had a problem, when our bookkeeper who had entered several transactions on QuickBooks Online one QuickBooks Online file wanted to transfer all the transactions to a new QuickBooks Online file. We spent a lot of time trying to figure this out, it might have taken us lesser time to re-enter all these ransactions into the new file.

These are small issues and we’re positive the developers will look into these issues and resolve them to make it a better app.
